Having made the rash decision to go back in the Mongol derby, I am now faced with the challenges of trying to prepare physically and more importantly mentally for a wild ride across the Mongolian steppe. 

Having talked with lots of KLR members, there are plenty of you out there who like to embark on wild adventures. So I have invited a few people along to help with Derby preparation for this year. 

They will be giving advice on how to go about the preparation and hopefully some tips to keep up my sleeve during the race 

And also my purpose behind doing the race is to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

So just to remind us how important they are, a good friend from Cameron's corner, Fred and Emma Osman will share how the RFDS has helped them by flying them out of a tricky spot 

And the people who work for the RFDS nurse Courtney Bylett and pilot Scott Owens take it in there stride and have come along to share some stories from a pilot and nurse on the job !
